Okey dokey! Christians have this crazy sense of humor. They love to keep the "flock" in the dark with that glazed over look in their eyes. Sort of what a cop looks like when they come out of a donut hut.
You realize this means he sacrified himself, to himself, after begging himself not to let this happen. Told all his followers to forgive as he forgives. Told them to be merciful as he is merciful. Forget glazed look - they probably have a double glazed look.
