I have to thank my wonderful heating pad and not so wonderful pain meds. Zanaflex and Hydrocodone are overrated. They had no effect on my pain what-so-ever. One thing that did get me through was watching DVD's and catching up on my book reading. As usual one of my most favorite DVD's is Monty Python and The Holy Grail. My brother and I love watching anything Monty Python and we can both recite this crazy funny movie word for word.

We are kindred spirits -- I ADORE Monty Python and the Holy Grail! I can recite huge chunks of it as well, much to everyone's annoyance around me. Glad to hear that it helps with your pain relief too.
It's surprising how well that movie holds up. Well, I guess not surprising because it is genius, but a lot of comedies don't age well. I'm glad the backache has at least somewhat abated...maybe?
