which is why I don't pray to the Goddess..I give her something shiny and then ask her politely to help a friend or family member..and then I tell her I love her and pat her on the head.
A friend of ours was buying $20 worth of lottery tickets each week. He told his priest that if he wins he's going to donate the winnings to the church to get things done. He said he prays for winning all the time. The priest told him, if he had true faith, he would only buy 1 ticket!

I agree with Jackiesue. I just give something shiny to my goddess (my wife) and she makes it all better.
