David is a wussy and wears them when he drives. I can handle the heat. I'm from El Paso where it's a dry heat and can boil water on the dash of your car.
So true. Last time I drove to El Paso it took me 8 hours. I had to slow down to 75 near Junction and again in Ft Stockton. Otherwise I put my low level flying license to good use. David was nervous the whole time.
Absolutely, I hadn't had a speeding ticket for 30 years until I moved to a small town in Texas; then, I got two. Also, I didn''t move here of my own free will - not my cup of tea. How did the state of LBJ and Ann Richards end up with a nutcase like Abbott?
I know what you mean. I miss Gov. Ann Richards sooooo much. We need a no nonsense woman back at the helm. Sandra, what part of Texas? I live in Seguin.
I live in Lindale. I have never lived in a small town before. Born in Minnesota and lived in California for 30 years. The two most progressive states in the country - and now this.
Ah Texas ... they keep threatening to secede and yet they never do.
