Day 25 July Blog Challenge

Day 25:

What was your favorite childhood book?

I think I would have to change that to books. I was infatuated with Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle books by Betty MacDonald. The books were started in 1947 all the way up to 2007. I was a Piggle-Wiggleholic. Every time I got the chance to go to the school library I would check out a Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle book. I kept reading those books up until I turned twelve.

I was fascinated by her cures, powders, and magic to change bad kids into good kids. Not to mention the fact that she lived in an upside down house and smelled of baked cookies all the time. She reminded me of my grandmother.

  5. Never heard of those books, wonder if they were popular in a particular geographic area? The part about changing kids, cures etc. could be they weren't allowed in some libraries, since I read above several people haven't heard of them. Some no doubt thought they were teaching witch craft, lol.
