What one person from history would you most like to spend a day with? Why?
I guess it would have to be Leonardo da Vinci. I'm intrigued by him and his work. Especially his art work. I would ask who the Mona Lisa was.
I would love to see his workshop. Where did he get his ideas. I would love to see his notebooks and sketches. I would love to just pick his brain to see what ideas he had that never made it to paper. He is a very interesting person to me.
Yes, I bet he'd be an interesting guy! My favourite theory about the identity of the Mona Lisa is that it's a self-portrait of Leonardo in drag.
ReplyDeleteNow that is a fascinating person. When I was in high school I had an English teacher who said her theory was the Mona Lisa was his mistress, and that smile was her look of satisfaction. Things that make you go "Hmmmmm...." ;-)
