I hate to fly. Sorry, that's just the way I am. If you are flying across the US why do they show you a flotation device? What are the odds you'll go down in the Mississippi River or the Great Lakes? I want a parachute or at the very least something that will bounce - and a martini waiting for me at the end of my flight.
Its one of the things that makes Southwest enjoyable. Most flights have funny announcements. Hers was exceptional. Its cheap flights with 2 free bags and some humor. If you have to be on a flight with all the glamour of a bus ride it sure helps to see smiling faces.
