Lucy
Unhappy news this morning, Lucy crossed the Rainbow Bridge an hour ago. She was my sweet baby girl and her seizures got the better of her. She went quietly in my arms. She is in a much better place. I won't be on for a while.
Oh, such sad news! Poor sweet little Lucy -- what joy she brought to you and David, and to those of us who only knew her via your blog. My deepest condolences, Leanna.
so sorry for your loss of dear lucy. you gave her a forever home full of love. she and spunky are together on the other side of the rainbow bridge. come back when you feel up to it.
I am so sad for you. Having last two dogs I loved in the past two years, it is heartbreaking. Even when it is time, it is never time in our hearts. Many hugs
Damn. The write Pete Hamill wrote this about Frank Sinatra when he died in 1995 and it holds true for any larger-than-life-force, like your Lucy. Their passing away feels "as if a thousand people suddenly left the room." They leave a huge silence, because they were such a big part of life. Take care, and know that many of us are missing Lucy in our own, smaller ways.
Sending you huge hugs ~~~
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear this Leanne. Take your time and grieve - we will all be here waiting for your return. Big Hug from Victoria in CT.
