We had a husky some long years back. If the temps dropped below 70 degs, he stood at the door and shivered until we let him in. I kept showing him pictures of snow and pulling sleds and other husky stuff. Nope.
Our GSD Lucky likes playing in the snow but if it gets colder than -20C or there is a wind, he does his business and wants inside.
