Four people have been arrested after the campaign group Led By Donkeys painted a Ukrainian flag on the road outside the Russian Embassy in London.
The group claimed responsibility for the 500 square meter blue and yellow flag, painted on Bayswater Road in London on Thursday, saying they did it to mark Friday's first anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The paint used did not damage the vehicles since it was water-based and would easily wash off.
Slava Ukraini!
doesn't look like anything was damaged or traffic obstructed to me. I'm surprised they did it in broad daylight though.
ReplyDeleteWheelbarrows full of paint -- ingenious!
ReplyDeleteThis act of vandalism was totally illegal, yet totally cool! Congrats to the vandals!
ReplyDeleteThis was one of my favorite stories of the week. Clever and no harm to property or vehicles with water based washable paint.
ReplyDeleteI would have helped them paint.
ReplyDeleteI hope they don't end up in a gulag. This is so brave!
ReplyDeleteI thought it as great! Water based ,washable paint who cares. We paint streets in RI for parades.
