Well that's one of those pick and choose things they like to do. That meme won't shock many Christians, they are always being told that god sends bad people to punish them for not obeying enough. Unless the bad person is defeated, then they are told God gave them the strength to defeat him/her.
Riiiiight - Christianity has always been a "pick and choose" religion. Yes, sez the old men, we like this one (put in the keep file). No-no, this will confuse too many people (toss).
