Which Is Better, A Leaf Pile Or Puddle

October 10 : Which is better to jump in: a leaf pile or a puddle?

I had to think a bit on this one because I think both are fun to jump in. The puddle is fun especially if you have someone to splash at like a sister who has a stick so far up her bu . . . never mind.

Anywho I like both.  Water puddles are for splashing and making a mess. You can do a lot of damage with a puddle. They can be grimy and mucky with mud and that can really fuck up someone's day going to school if you splash them. If it's a cold day, then that's a big plus in the equation because the one you splash has to sit through early morning classes all wet, muddy and cold. 

Leaf piles are great for hiding in and scaring the bejesus out of someone. You can run through leaf piles and disperse them while the dog chases you or you chase the dog. Fall back on great big fluffy leaf piles or make leaf angels. There are countless things you can do with leaf piles.

What Type Of Apple Are You

October 7 : If you were an apple, which type of apple (Granny Smith, Gala, Red Delicious, etc) would you be and why?

It would probably be my favorite which is the Pink Lady apple. It's tart and sweet at the same time and crisp when you bite into it. Almost like it could be called a snarky apple. It has attitude like me.

I'm A Witch

October 3 : Will you dress up for Halloween? What will you be?

I usually don't dress up for Halloween since being a Witch 24/7 all year long. I will wear my hat and dress in purple and black with my riding cloak but that's about it. For reasons of safety with the children in the neighborhoods the local churches have Halloween parties. So I don't think about dressing up too much.

My Most Favorite Autumnal Flavor

October 2 : What is your favorite autumnal flavor?

My most favorite autumnal flavor is hot spicy apple pie with vanilla ice cream melting all over it. The spiciness with the apples and cinnamon all mixed together with the crunchiness of the pie crust is just mouth watering to me. The smell filling my house as it bakes is just out of this world. 

Then when the pie sits just briefly to cool but not completely cool, sliced, and then a piece is smothered with the delicate vanilla flavor of ice cream as it melts. Oh what a foodgasm!

Favorite Thing About Autumn

I've started the NaBloPoMo for October. I love doing these things because they force me to write everyday and to tell you things about myself. I do hope you will enjoy reading my posts for this month.

October 1: What is your favorite thing about autumn?

Okay, I have so many things I love about autumn. I think the most wonderful favorite thing is when the weather starts to turn cool. Not 50 degrees cold but a brisk 60 to 65 degree cool. It's cool enough to enjoy for me.

I love that kind of coolness because it's when I can throw the windows open and get the cool winds blowing crisp clean air through the house. I can sit almost all day out on the porch drinking coffee or tea and enjoy the day while I read. I can bake to my hearts content and make hearty stews and soups. I can take walks with the dogs and not get heated. I can finally start wearing my sweaters and scarves with a real purpose and not just for fashion. I love autumn because there are so many holidays. My favorite being Samhain. I'm so glad autumn is here!
