Hey Y'all, a post-op notice. I went to see my orthopedic surgeon on Tuesday morning. Dr. D checked my knee by trying to manipulate to bend wrong. My knee was perfect. It refused to move any way he tried to move it to the sides or hyperextend it, my knee wouldn't bend. He said it looks good on the x-rays and it feels perfectly stable. He also said I don't have to wear the brace anymore. I did tell him that after the 5 weeks since my surgery I'm still having pain. He said it should hurt for a few more weeks. I will go back in 5 more weeks and then 1-year post-op and then no more unless my klutzy ass slips and falls again. I also went to see my family physician in the afternoon that same day and found out my blood work was perfect and I lost 26 lbs. It's actually 25 lbs because I was wearing my heavy-as-fuck running shoes which I can't run in anymore because of my knees. Anywho, my doctor was so happy that cutting out sugar is working for me. My A1c is down to 5.6 and hasn't moved up even though I eat out once in a while with David. Also, my lipid panel was perfect. I'm so happy. But one thing I have to keep working on this to keep it perfect and normal. So no overindulging. Once in a while eating out is fine.

Yeah. That's about right.
Since this past Monday when I said David got sick with a cold, you guessed it, I caught his fucking cold. Now he's upset with himself for not being more careful and covering up with his coughing or sneezing. So, yeah, it's a full-blown mother of a cold for me. I'm fighting it the best way I know how and that's with vitamin C, echinacea tea, and Jewish penicillin - otherwise known as homemade chicken soup. I made a huge batch of chicken soup when David got sick and I still have containers in serving sizes of it in the freezer. It seems to be working because my cold is moving faster than it usually takes. What I mean is, my cold usually takes three to four days as opposed to one day to move from a head cold to a chest cold. When to finally moves to my chest I have to worry that it doesn't turn into bronchitis. So right now it's been a chest cold for me now for 2 days and it's not as bad. I guess it's because of all the stuff I'm taking and doing in order to fight this cold.
Anywho, I'm trying to think of a way to kill David and hide the body efficiently with a limited number of supplies on hand.
