Merry Christmas/Festivus/Blessed Yule And My Eighth Day Of Incarceration

Mmmkay, now, Merry Christmas and Blessed Yule my dear minions. I hope all of you are getting what you want or need for the holidays.

Me, I need a vacation preferably to Figi. No hubby or farting puppies, just me and a sun drenched beach. My toes in the sand with beautiful blue-green waters to gaze upon. Really I do!!!

This morning I got up about 6:30 with the cleaning bug again. I think the only thing not cleaned was our car and truck in the drive way. David kept saying stop or you'll be laid up for a whole week in pain but I just couldn't. His daughter and her hubby would be stopping by and I wanted the place nice looking, that is minus the puppy toys and fur.

They stopped by about noon and we traded gifts and talked awhile and then they left. Then I started on the laundry. Sorry but this seems to attack me every winter. It's like a disease. I just can't help myself. David only noticed this year cause he wasn't outside like usual. It's a little colder this year than last and that means he is bothering me.

Next week he will be busy though. I plan to put him to work building me some book cases for my books while I move my stuff into his daughter's old room. I am hoping to keep him outside and out of my hair for at least the remainder of the vacation he has at home
