Oh my! I'm hoping that clip is a lot weaker than the one's I have otherwise that's gonna hurt - a lot. I understand the principle behind it. That's the way a mother cat would discipline her babies and I do hold my cat by his scruff (and lay him down as a mother cat would) when he gets over excited and starts to bite. I'm just concerned about how tight those clips are (at least the one's I have) and that they may cause injury if someone was to see that and not use proper caution.
Kia, I'm fairly sure that the cat was not injured since it didn't cry out and this was done in a Vet's examining room. If you will notice when the cat jumped off the exam table it wasn't running away or swatting at anything.
