Quick Note Before I Pass Out

I survived the surgery great, no problems. They found our the "bug" that attacked my bone. I'm on antibiotics once a day, everyday for 6 weeks. So Oct 6th will be my last check up forthis to see if everything is A-OK .

For now I am walking with a piece of surgical cement for a knee cap, which hurts like a mother!  They also had a  PICC line put in so I don't have to worry about my veins going bad from so many sticks from the Home Health Nurse.

Sorry but I need to crash now. My pain killers seem to make me do that. I love you all and thanks for the Well wishes.

I'm sorry  that I haven't been posting as much as I've been before but I've been out of sorts. I had a right Kidney infection that has caused a nasty problem with my new left knee. On Monday I will be going back for more surgery to remove my knee implant and have a  special implant of antibiotics and other goodies put in. Then I'll have a port put in and go in to the hospital as an outpatient everyday for 6 weeks to have an I.V. of antibiotics...mmmm yummy.

If all goes well and the bone infection clears completely up then Dr. D will set me up for a new knee implant.  SOOOO, this means I will be out of circulation for quite some time. If I feel okay than I might post a thing or two. Love all of my friends and readers more than you know.

My Friends...

I will be in and out of the blogging biz for a while. It's not so much my back, but my left knee that has me out  of commission for the next few weeks. I banged it against the car door after stepping off an uneven pavement. Yeah, I rammed that brand new knee into the car side molding strip and it is making it very hard to sit or walk for extended periods of time. So I'm crashing out on the pain meds and Ice packs to bring down the swelling for now. I will be on to occasionally read blogs and comment but that's about it. I love you all and hopefully will be back really soon to continue to terrorize all of you.
