I'd really rather deal with the cold than that kind of heat. You can just put on more layers of clothes to keep warm, but there are limits to how far it's possible to go in the other direction.
Also, where I live, the hot weather means forest fires. Arizona might get the same except I doubt they have more than one tree left at this point.
The mountains north of David in Panama appear to be perfect. 20 to 25C year round, nice breeze, not too humid, not too dry in summer or wet in winter. Ah, well, we can only dream
