Religions named us atheist. Why should we need a name to describe what we don't believe? I don't believe the sun rises in the west, I don't believe the earth balances on the back of a turtle, I don't believe that vampires and werewolves live under my bed, I don't believe the world is flat..... Why not say that I am a reasonable person? If people want to identify themselves as Christians - fine. They believe the unbelievable. They need a name to identify themselves as cult members. The rest of us don't. the Ol'Buzzard

It would be nice if blasphemy laws worked that way but alas, they don't.
