It must be maddening for someone with your religious and political views to live in Texas.
When I met my wife of 52 years, she lived not far from where you are in Universal City, where her father was stationed at Randolph. After our marriage, we lived from 1971-1986 in my home state of Mississippi. When the dumbass political and religious environment finally became too much for us, we moved to ultra liberal Eugene, Oregon--where we still are. I've since discovered that the far left is every bit as nutty as the far right, and so I don't really know which side would do a worse job of being in charge.
