🐶🐕 OMG! These wet-nosed officers are brilliant and heroic...and they know it! They love their jobs and get excited to move on to the next takedown! If you haven't been watching the A&E show "K9PD with Jim Belushi," I command you to binge-watch it On Demand right now! The 1st season (20 episodes) just wrapped up. Hubby and I really get into it with fun and excitement! One small warning: these dogs do sometimes get seriously injured and that is hard to watch.😢 Kudos to some states that have passed laws to treat injured K9 officers as they would the humans. For instance, authority to stop all traffic in a busy highway intersection to land a LifeFlight helicopter and get the K9 to a trauma center!! 🫶👏❤️❤️
I believe there are several states and more thinking about doing this now, that have a law that anyone hurting or killing a Police Dog will now will be arrested and be prosecuted for attempting to murder or murder of a Police Officer. They are after all wearing a badge.
