Christmas Eve And My Seventh Day Of Incarceration

I hate when He's home. David is beginning to drive me up the wall now. Yesterday I tried to stay busy by baking cookies. He pretty much stayed out of my way. What irks the shit out of me is that he watches trash TV all day long. And it blares from the media room like he thinks the whole neighborhood needs to hear this crap.

I had to stop reading my romance novel and close the windows because it was so annoying for the neighbors to hear. Then I had to explain that common sense says these dumb asses are paid to act this way on these programs. They are recruited from trailer parks in Kentucky [no offense] to come on the show and coached to do this crap. People are not this stupid or this ugly in real life. Of coarse he won't believe me so I let him be.

I went back to my cookie baking and reading my romance novel, knowing this stuff is for real.

Yule Blessings And Happy Solstice, Day Four Of My Incarceration

Yule Blessings and Happy Solstice my dear minions. I do hope some of you were able to catch the lunar eclipse this morning. It was cloudy so I missed it.

There is something about a  full moon that just energizes me. New moons do that to me too. Anywho I got up this morning and had my coffee and took my meds and proceeded to take the pantry and laundry room apart. I cleaned everything in sight ... with a 30% bleach solution.

I guess David smelled it cause he stayed out of my way most of the morning. Yes I said MOST of the morning. He started bothering me about the time I started to put stuff back in place. I told him to go get his tools and junk out of his daughter's old room. He started getting mad cause I wanted to get the room ready for my moving in there with my computer and artsy fartsy stuff next week.

Now he's all mad and shit cause he thought I meant for his stuff to go in there with mine. I think I may have a problem on my hands the next few days, trying to explain that a woman needs her space away from her hubby or else hubby will end up missing, lying in a shallow grave in the middle on the desert near Fort Stockton or Alpine. I could make it a road trip for the puppies. They love road trips.

Day Two Of Incarceration

Today is day two of my incarceration. It's not too bad. I only thought of killing him once, so far. 

I'm in the living room while David is in the media room. Yes he keeps coming in here to tell me what I just missed on a TV show he is watching.  At least I can sit in my den of slight peace and quiet with Pandora going in the background. I can keep the doors closed also, but then the puppies will go crazy trying to get away from daddy.

Tomorrow is Monday. It will be the true test of wills. Will I kill him now or after Christmas. We will see. Stay tuned my minions

Death By Husband

In less than 48 hours David will be home for two whole sickening freaking weeks. Yes, I know your plight Judith. I sympathize with you as you do me.

Right now I am trying to think up things to keep him busy and out of my hair. And then there are the things I am thinking of doing to him if he bothers me ... never mind. I can get into a whole lot of trouble if they find the body. Goddess, it was so much easier living near the desert in El Paso. So many places to hide ...  the bodies ... well I digress way to much it seems.

I was thinking of getting him to help me move all my treasures [ my desk, computer, art table, bookcases, etc..] into his daughter's old room. That way I can have peace and quiet for a bit. That would mean no more "hey hon, check out this video" or " look, look, look, you're gonna miss this!!!"  I'll show him " you're gonna miss this."  If this works the way I plan. I should be able to get more stuff done without his silly interruptions.

Then I'll have to find other things to keep him busy besides watching Jerry "Trash TV" Springer all day long and then coming around and asking me if I want to go for a ride to some store with him. OMG!!!  I'm gonna die a horrible, way too unfortunate death!!!  Why me, Goddess?  I've been a good Witch most of my life. I never killed ... anyone that didn't really need ... never mind.

Nothing But Fun

WOW!!!  I LOVE this thing!!! The last 10 hours were truly spent having total unadulterated FUN!!!  I mean to tell y'all that this Wacom Introus4 Medium Pen Tablet is nothing but fun. I was up most of the night checking out all the cool software and goodies it came with. It might be the best thing I ever bought since my first car.

If anyone is interested, as I know you are, Traveler. When you get the Tablet you will notice that it has two different ways to hook it up to your computer. Yes, they have thought of the left handed person as well as the right handed. The disk sets up the Tablet on your computer and then it will show you a table of contents. This is very important because when you look down the list of contents  where it says to Register the Tablet,  just click on that and it will take you to the Wacom site.

When you get to the Wacom site, follow the directions and enter all the necessary info on the Tablet to register it. Then you will go to the download section automatically. There are downloads for Corel Painter Sketch Pad, Adobe Photoshop Elements 8, which can be upgraded if you want to pay for it. There is Nik Color Efex Pro Brushes, and Autodesk Sketchbook Express.

Make sure you click on everything that you can get for your PC/MAC [for Mac users, make sure your Mac is up to date and can handle the software or it will not download] and then download them to a special folder on the computer. When you get out of that software area from Wacom you can never go back to redownload the stuff if you accidentally lose it or if you change your mind later and think oh I need that software that I didn't download before. It will not let you go back. So take the time and download everything in sight and order the DVD's that are available, I did.

When you get some time to open the software and finish setting it up, the Adobe and Corel software will ask for License keys. Go check your email and get them from there. Save both emails in a special folder on your email site so you will never lose them. Even if your computer crashes this stuff is safe.

Added Bonus: When you need some inspiration or ideas on the settings in the Introus4. Go to the Wacom site and check out all the added goodies they offer you for free. I spent two hours on that site and barely made a dent in all the stuff they offer. It all includes artists and their ideas to help you. Take advantage of this because it comes in handy.


Special notes: The Tablet has a cover you can order from Amazon.com. It's a hard foam cover pouch with zippers [Be.ez 100828 LArobe Sleeve for Wacom INTUOS4 MEDIUM (Black/Wasabi)] and it comes in different sizes to fit your Tablet. Believe me when I say it is an investment to keep the Tablet safe from scratches and dust. I have a small pouch I saved from a purse I no longer needed. It now holds the Pen and accessories and the mouse that comes with the Tablet.

Also order the extra Pen [INTUOS4 Pen Accessory Kit] set for the Tablet. You will need it. One more thing ... READ, READ, READ, everything in the help sections of the different software programs. It helps to know what you are doing. Don't forget the Wacom site. It also offers tips and tricks to help you in your artistic talents with the Tablet.

Just Crap To Keep You Informed Of The Crap I'm Going Through

Wait I need my coffee first...

My dear minions. I have only three, maybe four more days of Sanity left before David takes his two weeks off. Oh woe is me, my minions.

I was not able to blog this past Friday or Monday because David was home taking time off because he has all these freaking sick days piled up. So my time or is it my sanity is limited. Yes it is a dire situation for me.

Mmmkay, on the lighter side, I was thankful that I received all my goodies from Amazon.com before David decided to tell me he was playing hookie from work on Friday. I lit a candle and prayed really hard that Federal-Excuse would make it to the house before David got home on Thursday evening.

It was close but the Fed-Ex truck was driving down the street after dropping off my Intous4 Tablet package when David turned into the driveway on the otherside of the house. I had just a second of time to stash it behind the couch before he came in the kitchen door. Whew, that was cutting it close!

Friday we spent most of the day driving around Christmas shopping for the kids [ David's daughter and her hubby and their fuzzy kids the Boxers, Biscuit and Gravy]. Yes you saw them in a much previous post on Blingy Week. Also we were hunting down some new toys and goodies for our fuzzy kids too. I dearly love Petsmart. After all that running around up in San Marcos, it was so good to be home. I was so freaking tired.

On Saturday and Sunday I spent the days cleaning and doing laundry since I had like this energy boost in me that I couldn't get rid of. Then of course Monday I paid dearly for it by being laid up with pain again. Freaking damned Fibro!!!

But this morning I was able to get at all the packages that I had stashed from David including a gift for him that I still need to wrap. We agreed to not to exchange gifts but he needs this in his tool box so I don't need to hear him bitch about losing certain tools again ... ever!!!

Okay back to the other goodies. I got the MS Publisher 2010 and installed it on Little Hal cause he has more room then Hal does. Besides I noticed Hal has been crashing more often than he should. Even though I ran the Doctor Program on him and cleaned up some obsolete files. I think he's just getting old. I might need to start looking for another HP computer really soon.

Oh yes another thing,  an old blogger friend is back,  Dark Mother has returned to the fold of insane bloggerdom. Yes!!! All is right with the Universe again. Welcome back my dear. I missed you.
