I saw this again just recently while reading some stuff from old e-zines I kept. I came upon a story from 2011, about a bridge in Aarhus Denmark. An artist/ architect, Mark Nixon of London England, turned a bridge in Aarhus Denmark, into a musical instrument/sculpture called Chimecco, part of the "Sculpture By The Sea" collection.
He did this by hanging 600 aluminum pipes under the bridge. You can play music by hitting certain nodes as you walk on the bridge. The metal tubes hit each other by manual play or by wind currents. To read more check out the story here. This is so cool.
