I haven't watched it but basically the civil war never ended and the racists and white supremacists started infiltrating the police forces and armed services after Johnson passed the civil rights act. they got their racist and white supremacists elected to the state and national legislatures and finally got a president in who was with them. this isn't over, especially since they think they got away with it. FBI has sent out memos to all state governors to expect possibly violent protests at every state capitol on inauguration day and to be prepared.
