You would think after so many CENTURIES of "intellectual enlightenment", that the human species would know better.
I look at religion in the same light as I would a carnival side-show; smells and bells, pomp, ceremony, perhaps some touching music, but... spiritual? No. Never found "God" or divinity in any of it; just hokum. It's fun to attend once in a GREAT while, but I get more satisfaction and a sense of centering in communing with my cats.

How very true. I’m watching the series Vikings. And although it’s fictional the constant killing in the name of gods is definitely true facts
