🤣 History! What a concept! Elizabeth I had "Ladies-in-Waiting" because she couldn't put on those gigantic dresses and horrific makeup all by herself! Her successor, James I, was perfectly capable of putting on his own velvet slippers, but he still needed "Gentlemen Of The Bedchamber" to perform other tasks! Duh! 🤪
