Freaky But True - They Have No Shame

I saw this and couldn't believe it. This is a picture from a trump website.

Y'all notice the Jesus character?
It's Charles Manson taken when he was arrested back on October 12, 1969. They used his old picture thinking nobody would notice. Really?
My god they think we are that stupid. They have no shame!

WTF!! Tourettes Might Be Widespread This Year

Y'all got your 2020 Bingo cards out? Okay. Who has Asteroid 2018VP1? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Yeah, well, this thing is the size of a fridge and it will be coming so close that it could just hit us. The fact that it will be coming around November 2, 2020 really could put a damper on the elections and give the angry screaming orangutan man-baby in the White House something else to scream about with the elections being unfair.

And talk about screaming, what was up with Jr's girlfriend last night? Was she directing air traffic with her waving arms and why the fuck was she shouting? There was no one there except the camera paople. Yeah, Kimberly Gargoyle, NO, I didn't misspell that, was shouting at no one. She's spooky. Maybe she missed her turn at the White House oval office ativan salt lick before her speech, who knows. And then there was Don jr's turn. I swear that boy did a kilo of coke before he got there. He was sweating and his eyes all bloodshot, and this is a member of the first family. Tourettes is widespread with family and friends of the trumps. The crap they spewed and the lies! OMG! The lies. I couldn't keep up with the fact checking. I finally gave up. Be Best!

I'm feeling pretty good today, although I don't know how long it could last so I'm trying to get things done around here before the weather really makes me hurt worse than I am right now. I got two loads of laundry done and I dusted, vacuumed, and mopped early this morning so I won't have to do anything when Laura hits the coast. I can really feel little Marco rummaging around in Louisiana. How that is possible I don't know. It has to do with barometric pressure. Anywho, he's supposed to blow what's left of himself towards Texas but that remains to be seen. Laura is the one everyone is nervous about right now. She could turn out to be a beast but we will have to see how fast she picks up in the gulf.

Last week David replaced my hard drive in my laptop with a solid state drive. If you haven't done this, I highly recommend it. Well, unless you really don't think you need to do it. Anywho, he replaced it and this thing is so fast that I no longer can just turn it on and walk away while it boots up in the morning. My laptop was so slow that I could turn it on and then go open the drapes and window blinds, put water on to make tea, take Lucy out for her morning bathroom break, pour my tea and then sit down in front of my laptop and it would be just popping on to the screen to let me sign in. Then I would have to wait another half hour for Google to pop up. Yeah, it really was that slow. I kid you fucking not. Now I turn it on and it hit's the screen for sign on and I didn't even get to open the drapes yet. This fucker is fast. It has 1 terabyte of memory on the hard drive. I don't have time to screw around like I used to because if I want to get to a website, bang, I'm there yesterday. Really, it's that fast. I love it!! The great thing is that I don't have to defrag my hard drive as much either. David said I can do it once or twice a year if I feel the need. But doing it once a week like I used to do could cause a problem with the solid state drive. So, I had to take my laptop off of auto cleanup that it did once a week on Saturdays. This is soooo cool!

Well, the buzzer sounded on the dryer. I have to get back to the real world of laundry. Y'all have a safe and magical day.

This Was Not in the Script

Hey everybody. I've been up since yesterday with really bad leg and back pain. I had a feeling something was going to happen and sure enough this large ass storm moved down our way from the Dallas area. It was almost about to hit Austin when I finally went to sleep. I think I got about 3 hours of sleep when thunder woke me up. I went to see what the storm looked like and there it was. . .

The large black dot is where I am.

This was the radar at 8:20am.

Thunder woke me up at 8:15am and this storm has been moving slowly out of our area ever since. At 10:05 it was still raining. Yeah, almost 3 hours of rain. At least that is what David said. It's now 10:35am and it has finally stopped thundering and raining. The sun is trying to peek out but it will be a few more minutes before it happens. It's supposed to rain starting Monday because of two tropical storms heading our way. Hell, I don't mind, we could use the rain. This storm was an unexpected wonderful surprise.

Wet Cat Wednesday

Whoa!! Tuesday Already?

Remember whan I said the it wouldn't rain yesterday. Well it rained. Hard. Yeah. It did.

Rain coming down.
For a whole fucking hour and thundered too. We got 2 1/2 inches out of the storm plus it filled one rain barrel and started to run off into the other through the runoff hose that connects them. I'm so glad that David bought them last week and I had to tell him to set them up because it might rain soon.
They are actually bigger than they look.
I took this picture and cropped it down.
He laughed but finally put the spickets in them and the tubing for the runoff from one to the other. He said last night that he was glad that he listened to me and set them up. We would have lost that precious rain water. Hell, I'm glad he bought the new rain barrels because the old ones cracked from the cold weather this past winter. They were essentially just plain old plastic 30 gallon trash cans with lids. They cracked on the bottom when the rainwater expanded from the cold so now we have double the capacity for rain water at 60 gallons a barrel.
Lucy hiding under a blanket during the storm.
Poor Lucy was so scared and everything we did to console her didn't work. I even wrapped her tightly in a small towel as if she were wearing the Thunder Shirt for dogs but it didn't work, she ended up hiding under one of the end tables. The thunder finally ended around 7:30pm but then we lost electricity so we went to bed early. Lucy was all for that. She had enough crazy for one day.
Our neighbor in back of our house lost some branches last night from the storm winds. They came down really close to our carport. That's scary enough that the owner who is renting the property (house) decided to cut some branches on that nasty tree. I hope he cuts it all down. That tree loses branches every time the wind blows close to 30 mph. It's a dangerous tree.
Well, I have some laundry to catch up on. David only washed one load while I was stuck in bed. Yeah, his stuff. So, I have towels and my clothes and bed linens to get to. I might do towels and bed linens today and my stuff tomorrow. It depends on how I feel.
So, y'all have a safe and magical day.
