Awesome Foretelling Commotion Before the Game Last Night

Okay Y'all. Before I get to posting Wet Cat Wednesday, I have to tell all y'all that David and I are Texas Longhorn fans. We both bleed burnt orange. But I have to tell all y'all about what happened last night at the Sugar Bowl before the game between UT Texas Longhorns and Georgia Bulldogs mascots.
Bevo XV

Okay now, listen up all y'all. Bevo XV is the Texas Longhorn steer mascot. Not a bull. He's been "fixed" so he's not a bull. He's usually nothing but a docile 1700 pound big ol baby. Note the fact how quickly his handlers took over the situation in the video below. It took only 3 seconds for the Silver Spurs to get him under control. Note the one handler on Bevo's left horn. Now that is either a stupid young man or he's one brave mother fucker. Bevo could have thrown him like he was flicking off fleas but he didn't. The Siver Spurs know Bevo. The Silver Spurs Alumni are "charged" (I like that choice of wording there) with the care and handling of Bevo.
So to say it in just so many words, Bevo let everyone know who was going to win this game and NO it is not because Uga was wearing the Georgia colors which are black and red. Bevo is not a bull. So be quiet y'all. Red has nothing to do with Bevo acting up.
Bevo probably didn't even see Uga because of the commotion around the Georgia mascot. The Silver Spurs, Bevo's handlers, were trying to turn Bevo around to get him ready for pictures and I'm guessing the commotion outside his pen scared Bevo. He went on a little 3-second rampage injuring a photographer for the Austin American-Statesman newspaper. Who had his back to Bevo.
A round of drinks for Nick. He earned his stripes.
Nick Wagner sustained scratches on the left side and center of his back. If you watch the replay you will see Nick is in a semi-crouched position getting pictures of Uga and has his back to Bevo as Bevo gets upset at all the noise and movement near the stall area. Bevo didn't target anyone specifically he just got pissed and scared from all the attention and commotion. Shit happens and poor Nick just happened to have his back turned when Bevo tried to break free. If I was Nick I would be wearing those marks proudly around Austin, especially in the bars. It could get him free drinks, hell even a free . . . well, you know.
To let all y'all know that Uga was not in any danger. Uga took off running before his handler did. But I have to say that this was quite a foretelling event because Texas Longhorns beat Georgia Bulldogs in the Sugar Bowl  28 - 21 last night. Ouch, that hurt don't it Georgia?

YEEEEEEEEE HAAAAW!!

    HOOK 'EM HORNS!!

Think he was just getting frustrated by being handled too much and charging is the main way cattle fight back. Nice animal, I knew it was a steer, no testicles hanging down.

That's one big steer. And, it was really stoopid to expose it to people and the dogs where they could get hurt. I'm glad nobody did.

Thank you, darlin. What you wrote in comments about what happened with Bevo, was what exactly happened. There was just too much commotion and also the fact that photographers are not the smartest animals when it comes to taking pictures because they call out to move this way or that way just so they can get that money maker picture.. Cows and steers are considered autistic in the animal world. They will run or lash out if someone or something moves too quickly or makes too much noise near them. People are just too stupid to live.
